How to use?
The usual recommended initial dose is 180 mg orally as a loading dose following an Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) event. After the loading dose, the usual maintenance dose is 90 mg twice a day during the first year, followed by 60 mg twice a day after 1 year. To use this medicine: Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will determine the number of tablets you need to take and the timing. You can take the tablets with or without food. Take your doses at the same time every day. If you are unable to swallow the tablet, you can crush it and mix it with water. Ensure you drink the entire cup containing the crushed tablet, then rinse the cup with water and drink all the water again.
