Pinaverium Bromide belongs to a class of medications known as 'Gastrointestinal Calcium Antagonists'. It is used for the relief of signs associated with functional bowel problems, such as pain, bowel discomfort, and intestinal disturbances. It is also used for the relief of pain associated with functional problems of the biliary tract and as preparation for a barium enema.
How to use?
The recommended dose is one tablet orally twice a day (one tablet in the morning and one tablet in the evening). Your doctor may exceptionally recommend a dosage of one tablet three times a day.
